This moment marks the presentation of the results from the two-week workshop developed with RARA (Residency for Crafts of the Azores Region) and CADA (Center for Crafts and Design of the Azores). Throughout this period, participants explored traditional craft techniques that have shaped local life and are now seeking a renewed place in contemporary practice.

Participants worked hands-on with the materials under the guidance of Alcídio Andrade (wicker) and Bento Silva (espadana). They were also accompanied by designers Miguel Flor and Soraia Gomes Teixeira, who supported them in creative processes, product development, innovation, and the exploration of new markets for handcrafted production.
