Estado de Graça was a tribute to the land and territory, its products, and to those who care for it, transform it, and share it. Focusing on the Mercado da Graça in Ponta Delgada — a space of crossings, a meeting point, and a living expression of the territory of São Miguel — where colors, textures, aromas, flavors, and stories reveal the richness of the island in multiple layers and intersections.

During the Biennial, the project proposed moments of activation and participation: an exhibition, a market stall, talks, and guided visits, celebrating the connections between products, producers, vendors, and consumers, while promoting conscious consumption, encounter, sustainability, and quality food.

The Estado de Graça Stall presented proposals inspired by the market and autumn harvests; the exhibition Praça da Graça highlighted the stories and vitality of this place; and the cycle concludes with a Sopa de Pedra, a communal meal marking both an ending and the beginning of a new time.
