DESCOLA – Young Creators continues through the island, now in Vila Franca do Campo

After passing through Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande, Nordeste and Furnas, DESCOLA is now heading to Furnas, the fifth municipality on the island where it will be on display.

The works presented explore alternative possibilities for what already exists, drawing on the unique and rich sensibilities of a group of six young people from São Miguel who, over the course of six months, were challenged to think creatively about the importance of living under a logic of abundance. Their creations are touring the six municipalities of São Miguel between 2025 and 2026, organized by curators and museographers Diogo Sousa and José Amorim.
