Claire Shea
Claire Shea is a curator based in Toronto. Her curatorial approach emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration and community engagement. From 2022 to 2024, she was Director of Fogo Island Arts, overseeing exhibitions and programs that fostered contemporary artistic practices. Shea has held significant roles at institutions such as Para Site in Hong Kong and Cass Sculpture Foundation in the UK, where she developed projects that explored themes of cultural identity and public art. She is co-curator of the Walk&Talk — Bienal de Artes 2025 in São Miguel, Azores. Shea’s work continues to bridge diverse artistic communities, promoting dialogue and innovation.
