Carlos Carreiro

Carlos Carreiro, born in Ponta Delgada in 1946, celebrated the 50th anniversary of his career in 2023. His painting explores an imaginary where fantasy, humor and commentary prevail in a play of light and concepts. He has taken part in more than 300 group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, and has held many solo exhibitions, being present in numerous private collections and official bodies in the Azores.
