Isabel Costa & Os Possessos

Founded in 2013, Os Possessos is a young theater company based between Lisbon and Almada, currently with five members: Catarina Rôlo Salgueiro, Isabel Costa, João Pedro Mamede, Leonardo Garibaldi and Leonor Buescu. They work on theatrical and performance projects, based on universal narratives and the creation of a common fiction about reality between the artists and the audience. 

Isabel Costa works in theater, cinema and curation. She is a creator and actress, and has been a member of the company Os Possessos since 2014. As a creator, she presented the creation “Estufa-Fria-A Caminho de uma Nova Esfera de Relações” at the Bienal de Jovens Criadores, and the first edition of Projeto Manifesta, a project produced by Os Possessos. She has presented other projects such as “Maratona de Manifestos”, “Salão Para o Século XXI”, “Som e Fúria” and “Manifestos Para Depois do Fim do Mundo”.
