Drawing on her research into the fungus–algae lichen known as “orchill” / “urzela”(rocella tinctoria), Teresa Castro sketches the little-known histories of the biotariat and evokes symbiotic processes that inspire imaginaries of abundance — proposing alternatives to colonial and extractive ways of relating between humans and the more-than-human world.
