Maria Emanuel Albergaria

Maria Emanuel Albergaria is an artist who explores the intersection between art, education and cultural heritage. Her practice encompasses the making of award-winning films, such as “ O Rapto dos Gémeos das Cavernas”, and the creation of art installations, such as “Uma Casa na Floresta” and the development of community art projects, including “Caminhos do Chá” and “Sete Cidades-Para Além da Paisagem”, which promote the links between art and local communities. She is currently a member of the National Arts Plan team, contributing to educational and cultural innovation in Portugal.
