Mariana de Medeiros & Frederico Garcia

Mariana Pacheco de Medeiros was born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, and studied theater in Lisbon. As a creator, her work focuses on fictionalizing her own biography, exploring the intersection between different artistic disciplines — namely writing, video, and performance. She has collaborated with several directors, choreographers, and filmmakers, and in 2023 she premiered the performance LOBA at the Temps d’Images Festival.

Frederico Garcia was born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, and studied veterinary medicine, as well as several areas related to agriculture. Since 2018, he has managed the family farm, Vila Verde, in São Vicente Ferreira, where he preserves traditional methods and introduces new practices, including the production of shiitake mushrooms.
